Our Puppy Kindergarten class is designed as an interactive environment to allow you to learn the skills necessary to integrate your new puppy into your life and home. This class teaches you how to understand your puppy's signals and properly communicate your wishes to help facilitate rapid learning. The first few weeks in a new environment is a crucial time for bonding and learning. This class will help you teach your puppy skills that will help him become a successful and cherished part of your family.
In this supervised group setting, puppies will socialize with other pups and learn to behave well in the presence of other dogs . Games , stimulation and distraction will encourage your pup to learn and accept new and different environments. Exercises designed to build confidence will also be employed. We will begin learning basic behaviors such as learning to sit, down, walk well on lead, come when called and the beginning stages of stay. Our instructors can also help with advice on house braking, crate training and behavior issues.
This class is open to pups 8 weeks to 5 months of age.
For the safety of all participants, puppies must be current and stay current on immunizations throughout the duration of the class session. Please contact our front desk to inquire about required vaccinations and discuss protocols.
Class sizes are limited to maximize individual attention. Space is limited.
This class will run for 6 consecutive lessons at a cost of $95.00
In case of inclement weather, there will be scheduled make up sessions. Please contact the front desk if you have questions about cancellation. We make reasonable efforts to notify participants in the event cancellation due to weather conditions becomes necessary.
.The Enhanced puppy package includes enrollment in our Kindergarten class PLUS you will get a 1/2 hour private training session.
In addition, you will get your puppy's First Groom and a consultation with one of our professional groomers about home maintenance grooming and recommendations for a comprehensive plan to keep your dogs coat in healthy, premium condition.
The puppy's first groom must be scheduled during the 6 weeks of the puppy Kindergarten session.
The cost of the Enhanced Puppy Package is just $125
.This Class is designed for dogs over 5 months of age with little or no prior training or dogs with minor behavior problems. The goal of this class is to establish a positive relationship between the owner/trainer and the dog while teaching basic obedience commands.
This class teaches basic skills of sit, stay, down, recall, watch and impulse control (leave it).
This class runs for 6 consecutive lessons at a cost of $95.00

.Private classes are taught one on one with you and your dog. In a private setting we are able to concentrate on addressing specific needs or behavior problems. Each class is scheduled individially so we so we are better able to accomodate a flexible schedule.
Classes typically run about 50 minutes . They can be purchased in single units but there is a price break for bundling lessons into blocks.

.Our board and Train Program allows you to drop your dog off to stay with us for a couple weeks or more for intense training.We teach basic obedience, teach social skills and address behavior problems . The dog will be worked by one or more of our competent trainers on a regular schedule while he/she stays with us at Paws Here. There is regular communication with the owner by updates to advise of progress or problems.. Once the preset goals are achieved we will meet again with the owners for a lesson or two to make sure that all correct commands are being used and the the dog understands clearly and everyone is working on the same page.
